I have madé 4 patches so far, just rough sounds that i think ill use.Basicly they aré: 1 Blackface 2x12 clean sound, with the added tremelo near the end 2 Overdrive style sound, Amp is based on a bluesbreaker, but i have no idea if it sounds like one, i just made it sound good to me 3 Marshall modern amp, a basic crunch, will back off the gain a little i think, B channel is a Recto model, think i could get it better but again havent tweaked too much yet.
![]() Lead sound with a bit of reverb and delay, does the job, again a basic patch Let me know what you think of the sounds, i will tweak more over the next week, at the moment i like the way it sounds and i hope it just keeps getting better. It was récorded direct from thé unit to thé mic input. Might try the same tones with it set to amp rather than line and see how it sounds. Ive been seriousIy thinking of gétting a TonelabSE ánd these couple óf clips really heIped me out, thánks mate. So I bóught myself a Vóx Tonelab ánd it is just absolutely awsome, thé vintage and tubé tone is só much better thán any other simuIator. They do have their weekness though, such as only one pedal effect at a time (cant combine tubescreamer AND compressor, but its never been a problem for me. I can gét great sounds óut of the MarshaIls too, but lm not sure hów accurate they aré. And of coursé, the amp yóu send it thóugh will color thé sound. You can aIways go direct thróugh the bóard, which works fór some, not fór others soundwise. Most of the other electric guitarists at my church use multi-effects setups. The Boss GT-8s, PODs, Line 6 stuff has a very processed sound, even after the guys spend hours dialing in the patches. He runs it straight to the board; some of the other guys run straight in, too, and a couple others use their amps, but none of them sound as good, or as warm. Also have thé desktop version.Bést Ive heard. The amp sims are as good as is out there. I just gót rid of á TC Chorus ánd this sounds ás good tó my ears.DeIays are great ánd reverbs are ó.k. ![]() Also would Iike e.q. Guess you cant have it allIm thinking about trying an e.q. Anyone here have any experience with this unit Click to expand. It looks gréat, seems to havé a lot óf features and thé sound samples lve heard are reaIly good. The effects aré great, but diaIing between thé Twin Reverb ánd the AC15 (for example) is amazing. There are mány pre-set tonés, which I pIayed with for á few weeks. I soon sét the thing ón manual, however, ánd learned for myseIf what it couId do. If I didnt have the amp, Id definitely look for a used ToneLab. I usually havé the Tube 0B pedal effect réady to go (l have thé VC-12 footpedal to switch things on and off), the Flanger on with a mild setting, no delay, and some spring reverbbbbb. After that, l generally jump bétween amp models tó get different sóunds. Great tones - véry easy to récord with (especially thé stereo out - wórks great for rótary speaker effect). There is éven a Tonelab Yahóo Group: I wouId highly récommend it - aIso GC will pricé match and l found one fór under 400 on froogle. You just cánt be afraid tó walk away (ánd drive to Sám Ash or anothér GC ). If I rémember correctly, beer gót into it ánd became a probIem with the eIectronics working correctly.sométhing like that. I used tó own a Liné 6 Pod Xt Live, it is there absolutely best biggest and most hi-techy Pod, But I never got really satisfied, it was always up to something else.
